StarMUD is a universe of infinite diversity, occupied by dozens of species, who belong to many professions, subprofessions, and factions. It is run by a group of developers known collectively as wizards, whose ranks have made up some of the best programmers in the MUD multiverse. StarMUD's wizards and players come from many different countries and cultures, but all come together in a virtual world that is truly unique. On occasion, the people of StarMUD have been known to congregate in the real world at MUD parties.
The intent of this wiki is to detail out the world within the MUD that is StarMUD. To explain the story of the game, its history, how the game is played, and how the game is created. Your chief guides through this foray into knowledge are Zac and Ravnos, current Gods of StarMUD. Please see our current events for what is happening on the MUD.
