Domains

From StarWiki

The StarMUD universe is divided into several domains, led by wizards who are domain lords:

• Bukovina - Wick
• Earth - Shawrk
• Empire - Nightranger
• Kradel - Rock
• Polaris - Deliah
• Silenus - Wordgod

There are also two domains which currently have no active domain lords: Krebius and Milliways.

Small domains

There are also several smaller domains, which do not have controlling lords: Inferno, Mogadon, Tenebras, and Wizplanet.

Defunct domains

There are a few domains that existed, but were closed:

• DOOM, coded primarily by Stimpy, closed due to an immense amount of cheats and bugs.
• Dune, coded primarily by Wordgod, recoded into the Silenus domain.
• Dynamo, coded primarily by Blackheart and Tclord, merged into Earth domain.
• Horror, coded by Blackheart, merged into Earth domain.
• Housing, coded by Worf and Ravnos, converted into apartments which no longer required heavy maintenance.
• Nova, coded by Trak and then recoded into the Earth domain orbital stations by Zac.
• Superplayer, coded by Ghostrider, deemed unnecessary.
• Terra, originally was a split from Earth domain and was merged back in.
• VR, originally coded by Dm and then Tclord, only a small fraction of its intended functionality was ever implemented, closed.
• Xanthia, originally coded by Blackmist and Tclord, merged with Empire domain.

There have been several failed domain projects on StarMUD. Domains that started but for whatever reason never came to fruition:

Bloodbowl, Bodily Functions, Darkstar, Dreamlands, Genertela, Goliath, Hyperborea, LV429, Land, Megacity, Onyx, Pandarve, and Rifts.
