Gargoyle

Gargoyles hail from a dark planet light years away, and are very similar to the creatures of popular human myth.

Gargoyles are strong, but slow and stupid. Gargoyles have a morbid dread of birds, and masonry drills.

Skills

Due to their clumsiness and overall ineptness, gargoyles do not have a critical skill.

Other abilities

Gargoyles become tired less rapidly than other species, and their hard skin tends to lessen damage. They are however more vulnerable than normal to blunt weapons and damage from cold. Gargoyles can use the 'hibernate' command to heal themselves by turning to stone for a time. Gargoyles have wings and can use these to 'fly', avoiding ground-based hazards. Since the internal organs of a gargoyle are made of stone, they do not eat, and while in dark rooms their healing is slightly better than normal.
