 news			  - Shows your current newsgroup.
 news groups             - Lists all newsgroups.

SUBSCRIBING AND UNSUBSCRIBING

 news sub >group<        - Subscribes to the specified newsgroup.

 news sub all            - Subscribes to all available newsgroups.

READING AND LISTING MESSAGES

 news list               - Lists messages in your current newsgroup.

 news tail >group<       - Lists the last ten messages in the specified
                           newsgroup.
 news next               - Searches current and subscribed groups for
                           the next unread message and displays it.
 news check              - Checks all groups you are subscribed to and
                           lists those with unread messages.
 news read >number<      - Reads a message in your current newsgroup.
 news catchup            - Catches up in your current group.
 news catchup >group<    - Catches up in the specified group.
 news catchup all        - Catches up in all subscribed groups.

POSTING, REPLYING TO, AND DELETING MESSAGES

 news post >subject<     - Posts a message to your current newsgroup.
 news apost >subject<    - Posts a message anonymously to your current
                           newsgroup. Only the 'alt' hierarchy may
                           be posted to anonymously.
 news reply >number<     - Replies to the specified message in your 
                           current newsgroup.
 news areply >number<    - Replies anonymously to the specified
                           message in your current newsgroup.
 news wipe >number<      - Deletes the specified message in your 
                           current newsgroup.

 news asearch >name<     - Searches your current newsgroup for all posts by 'name'

COMMANDS FOR CONFIGURING NEWS

 news nosigs             - Do not display signatures.
 news shortsigs          - Display short news signatures.
 news longsigs           - Display full news signatures.
 news nowrap             - Do not automatically wrap posts you write.
 news autowrap           - Automatically wrap posts you write.
 news nosnip             - Do not automatically snip quoted material.
 news autosnip           - Automatically snip quoted material.

COMMANDS FOR WIZARDS USING NEWS

 news pcreate >group<    - Creates a private group. The created
                           group will be moderated by the wizard.
 news pdelete >group<    - Deletes a private group.

COMMANDS FOR NEWSGROUP MODERATORS

 news mallow >name<      - Allows the given person into the current
                           group, both to read and to post. Using
                           the special name 'all-read' will allow
                           everyone to read the current group, and
                           using 'all-post' will allow everyone to
                           post to it.
 news munallow >name<    - Revokes the given person's allowance.
 news mbanish >name<     - Banishes the given person from the current
                           group, both reading and posting. The
                           special tags 'all-read' and 'all-post' may
                           be used as for allowances.
 news munbanish >name<   - Removes the given person's banishment.
