SYNOPSIS

   The Oinos satellite orbits the planet Polaris, and is provides access to
   the surface of the planet.

DESCRIPTION

   Maintained by the Venoulli, the Oinos satellite is a recent construction
   that is situated in a high orbit above the planet Polaris. A hub for
   activity of all kinds, both interstellar otherwise, it is home to a
   variety of facilities such as a virtual library for entertainment, a
   multitude of shops and food merchants, medical services, and travel both
   to other worlds as well as to the surface of Polaris. Ice skimmers are
   available for travel to the planet's surface, and are among the more
   reliable modes of transportation available in the known universe.

   The Venoulli maintain a strong security and military presence on the
   satellite, and are not particularly renowned for their humor, or forgiving
   natures. They are, above all, businessmen devoted to profit, and if they
   are found performing any sort of good deed, it is not done for altruist
   reasons, but rather because it directly benefits the Venoulli in some
   meaningful way. Their security and military forces present here are armed
   to the teeth, and well trained.
