Serpent

Serpents are quite obviously, as their name implies, large snake-like creatures.

Serpents stand roughly the same height as a typical human, held erect with powerful muscles on their elongated bodies, using their very powerful tail to balance themselves and propel themselves along. They are highly intelligent, and have many strange psionic powers, and are well protected against any psionic type attacks. They have a rather tough skin, which since they cannot wear armor, improves their defensive ability with age. Due to their reptilian nature, extreme changes in temperature can frequently be debilitating to serpents, causing their metabolism to slow and muscles to cramp. Serpents are known for devouring the corpses of defeated enemies.

Skills

Serpents get bonuses to their unarmed ability, since their lack of arms and hands makes it very difficult to wield weapons. They also get bonuses to their psionic abilities.

Other abilities

Serpents are known for having some kind of poison, as they always attack with their fangs. Rumor also has it that serpents can change form to normal humans in order to better fit into humanoid societies.
