Talnid

The talnid are a species of land-dwelling squid, using two motor tentacles to move around and having ten tentacles left for other tasks such as combat or carrying. Talnid are strong and intelligent, and can carry more gear than a normal human could, but they lack some dexterity.

Skills

As tentacles are not a good means of holding weapons, talnids have learnt to adapt using no weapons at all.

Other abilities

Talnid cannot wield weapons or wear armor. They always have 10 attacks available to them, one with each tentacle, but as they do not have muscles, instead using an internal pressure system, thrusting and cutting weapons can drain their internal pressure and make them sluggish and slow to react. When in great danger a talnid will spray a cloud of ink with the 'tink' command, blinding their attackers for a short period of time to cover their means of escape.

Talnid will eat anything including corpses after proper preparation. Talnid have full vision.
